PROGRAM DESIGN
The aim of this educational and research programme is to develop future clinicians in the field of GI-Oncology into the highest standard of expertise. This requires sound knowledge of GI-Oncology as well as scientific education and understanding about yourself and group dynamics.
The GI-Oncology 2010 educational programme includes six meetings.
At each meeting there will be three main lines of training:

science/research
-
leadership
The target group for the education are:

gastroenterologists
-
oncologists
-
radiologists
-
surgeons
The local host will decide the content of the GI Oncology section, within a framework given by the organizing committee. The scientific section will be organized jointly by the local host and the organizing committee. The leadership training will be the responsibility of the organizing committee.
The benefits of the programme are:
